Carver Actor Reunites With Former Chicago Fire Star Amid His Uncertain Firehouse 51 Future

– During the summer break, Chicago Fire’s Jake Lockett hangs out with former co-star Alberto Rosende.
– Carver’s future at Firehouse 51 remains uncertain as viewers wait for Chicago Fire season 13.
– Viewers hope for Carver’s return, as One Chicago aims for stability after the mass exodus in Chicago Fire season 12.

While Sam Carver’s future at Firehouse 51 hangs in the balance, Jake Lockett hangs out with former Chicago Fire star Alberto Rosende during the summer break. Arguably the best among the most recent additions to One Chicago, Carver’s start at Chief Boden’s house wasn’t exactly ideal. Harboring some residual feelings for Stella Kidd from their days in the academy, his first year on the job had so many awkward moments. However, as the show developed the character, he finally found his spot in the Chicago Fire season 12 team up until the finale.

Regardless of Carver’s fate in season 13, Lockett spent time with his former co-star, Blake Gallo actor, Alberto Rosende, as seen on his Instagram Story. Check out a snap of his social media post below:

In the video, Rosende and Lockett appear to be playing golf. It’s worth noting that Gallo left Firehouse 51 at the start of Chicago Fire season 12. He was the first of four departures from the show, the last one being Eammon Walker as Wallace Boden.

Will Carver Be Back In Chicago Fire Season 13?
Carver Went On Another Furlough In The Chicago Fire Season 12 Finale

NBC left the resolution for Carver’s disappearance for Chicago Fire season 13, but considering One Chicago’s history with character exits, there are concerns about him potentially never coming back.

As if losing Boden wasn’t already a big change towards the end of the Chicago Fire season 12 finale, Kidd also revealed that Carver took another furlough on the heels of a bad call when he and Kelly Severide’s half-brother Jack Damon got into a brawl with civilians. The disastrous shift was made so much worse by his argument with Violet Mikami in the locker about the status of their relationship. The pair have been casually dating for a while, but still scarred by the tragic death of Evan Hawkins, Violet can’t see that Carver has genuine feelings for her.

NBC left the resolution for Carver’s disappearance for Chicago Fire season 13, but considering One Chicago’s history with character exits, there are concerns about him potentially never coming back. Lockett’s previous social media activity hinted that he would be back. That being said, unless there’s concrete proof that Carver will find himself at Firehouse 51, it’s difficult to get attached to the idea only to be disappointed come fall. Rosende’s time in the first-responder procedural is a perfect example since there was barely any set-up to his departure in the Chicago Fire season 12 premiere.

Eamonn Walker joined the several other actors who exited Chicago Fire during season 12 when his character, Chief Boden, said goodbye in the finale.

Those holding out hope that he will come back can find solace in the idea that there’s nothing to be gained by writing out Carver, especially in light of the mass exodus that One Chicago just experienced. Chicago Fire season 13 will be better if it retains as many familiar faces as it can. This way, there’s some semblance of stability going into the new year, which would be very helpful with Firehouse 51 getting used to not having Chief Boden around.
