Three years after CBS canceled NCIS: Los Angeles, two of the show’s stars are set to reunite for a new project. Daniela Ruah and Natalia del Riego have been cast in the mystery movie …And Then She Was Gone, according to Deadline.
Ruah starred as Special Agent Kensi Blye throughout the spinoff’s 14-season run from 2009 to 2023, while del Riego portrayed Rosa Reyes, Kensi’s adopted daughter, in the show’s later seasons. Their reunion marks their first on-screen collaboration since the series ended.
Filming for …And Then She Was Gone is scheduled to begin in fall 2026. Although details about the storyline remain limited, the film is expected to lean heavily into mystery and suspense rather than procedural storytelling.
The casting underscores the lasting impact of NCIS: Los Angeles, which built a loyal fanbase over more than a decade on the air. Even after cancellation, the show continues to create new opportunities for its former stars to collaborate again.
