The entertainment world is shocked by the news of Cote de Pablo’s death at the age of 46 md20

This marks the first time that NCIS: Tony & Ziva has been available to watch without a Paramount+ subscription. The release comes after Paramount+ canceled the show following the end of its first season. Fans have been campaigning to save the series, which follows two fan-favorite NCIS characters. Perhaps the digital release will help NCIS: Tony & ZIva find a wider audience, helping that cause.

NICS: Tony & Ziva begins after the supposed death of Ziva (Cote de Pablo) and Tony’s (Michael Weatherly) exit from the NCIS team to raise their daughter. Years later, Ziva is alive, having been on one last NCIS mission before reuniting with Tony and their child in Paris. As NCIS: Tony & Ziva opens, Tony and Ziva are raising their daughter, Tali (Isla Gie), but when Tony’s security company comes under attack, they’re forced to go on the run across Europe, while piecing together who is after them and, in the process, possibly rebuilding their trust.

NCIS: TONY & ZIVA stars Cote de Pablo, Michael Weatherly, Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Lara Rossi, Isla Gie, Nassima Benchicou, Terence Maynard, Julian Ovenden, and James D’Arcy. John McNamara serves as showrunner and executive producer, along with de Pablo, Weatherly, Laurie Lieser, Christina Strain, Shelley Meals, and Mairzee Almas.

Paramount Home Entertainment provided a list of special features included with the digital release of NCIS: Tony & Ziva. They are:

  • Two Deleted Scenes – Exclusive to digital
  • Gag Reel
      • “A Global Affair” focuses on the development and production of the NCIS: Tony & Ziva storyline, featuring interviews with Michael Weatherly, Cote de Pablo, and showrunner John McNamara.
      • “Shooting Abroad” looks at the production work done on location in Budapest, featuring cast and crew interviews.
      • “A Dress Worth Waiting For” centers on the design and on-set use of the wedding dress worn by Cote de Pablo.Three Featurettes

NCIS: Tony & Ziva is the first NCIS show to be canceled after just one season. Since that news broke, NCIS fans have been trying to save the series.

“I want to just say how much this made me smile and maybe even nudged my tear ducts,” NCIS: Tony & Ziva star Michael Weatherly wrote in response to fans’ efforts, “…beautiful, and I want to say a GIGANTIC thank you to any and all involved. I see you. I appreciate you. Big kiss for 2026.”

When Paramount first announced that it had canceled NCIS: Tony & Ziva, Weatherly and de Pablo released a joint statement that read, “We feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to play these characters once again and to tell the next chapter of Tony and Ziva’s story. Our deepest thanks go to our extraordinary cast, crew, writers, directors, and producers, and to our partners at CBS Studios and Paramount+ who helped make this dream a reality. But most of all, we want to thank the fans around the world who joined us on this adventure and finally got to see Tony and Ziva find their happily ever after.”
