Gordon Ramsay to help British ex-pats with struggling restaurants in Spain

Gordon Ramsay is heading to Spain to help British ex-pats with struggling restaurants boost their business.

The Michelin-starred chef will attempt to help Brits turn their fortunes around in the latest series of his show Kitchen Nightmares.

A source told the Mirror: “He will visit restaurants on the Costa del Sol to try to help them. The Spanish economy has crashed and people have no money to spend so a lot of restaurants are really struggling. Gordon will be helping ex-pats try to get customers back through their doors.”

Back in 2007, the chef travelled to Spain and filmed an episode of Kitchen Nightmares at Nerja’s La Parra de Burriana.

He attempted to help owner Laurence Davy turn his business around, but on a return visit in 2012 found that the business had closed, reports The Olive Press.

Let’s hope there’s better luck this time.
