Virgin River is officially back this spring. Netflix has confirmed that Season 7 premieres Thursday, March 12, 2026, with new characters, emotional resolutions, and major turning points ahead.
The upcoming season leans into its biggest promise yet: Mel and Jack becoming parents, after Marley offers them the chance to adopt her baby. Meanwhile, the fallout from Season 6’s cliffhanger puts Charmaine back in danger, with showrunner Patrick Sean Smith teasing that she’s “in the middle of a mess again.”
Several new characters arrive in town, including Cody Kearsley as Clay, a rodeo worker searching for his long-lost sister, and Sara Canning as Victoria, a former cop now investigating Doc’s clinic—while possibly sparking a new romance.
Elsewhere, Brie, Brady, and Mike will finally confront their tangled love triangle, Muriel’s cancer storyline takes a hopeful turn, and Cameron will not return as a series regular. The door also remains open for Ricky’s eventual comeback.
