Netflix Sets Virgin River Season 7 Premiere — Here’s What to Know md14

Virgin River is officially returning. Netflix has confirmed that Season 7 premieres March 12, 2026, ending a year-long wait for fans—and the streamer has already renewed the series for Season 8, set to begin production this spring.

Season 7 will feature 10 one-hour episodes and pick up immediately after Season 6’s shocking cliffhanger, when Charmaine vanished and Jack discovered something disturbing in her nursery.

Last season delivered some long-awaited joy—most notably Mel and Jack’s wedding—but balanced it with major turmoil: Charmaine’s disappearance, Doc’s clinic under threat, Brady being scammed by Lark, Mike proposing to Brie amid lingering feelings for Brady, and Lizzie and Denny facing tough choices about their unborn child.

The new season also introduces fresh faces:

  • Sara Canning as Victoria, a former cop investigating Doc’s practice

  • Cody Kearsley as Clay, a rodeo worker searching for his missing sister

  • Austin Nichols in a secret role Netflix is keeping tightly under wraps

Returning cast members include Alexandra Breckenridge, Martin Henderson, Tim Matheson, Annette O’Toole, Colin Lawrence, Zibby Allen, Ben Hollingsworth, Marco Grazzini, and more. Mark Ghanimé will not return as a series regular.

There’s no trailer yet, but with mysteries unresolved and new characters shaking up the town, Virgin River Season 7 is shaping up to be one of the show’s most dramatic chapters yet.
