‘NCIS,’ ‘Origins’ and ‘Sydney’ Delayed — Here’s When They Return md14

Fans of the NCIS franchise will have to wait a little longer for new episodes. NCIS, NCIS: Origins, and NCIS: Sydney have all had their winter premiere dates pushed back by one week.

The three shows, which air back-to-back on Tuesdays, were originally set to return on February 24. CBS has now confirmed they will instead resume on March 3, due to the State of the Union address.

The delay comes as all three series left off on major storylines. NCIS ended with the shocking return of Emily Wickersham’s Ellie Bishop, now pursued by Jessica Knight’s elite team. NCIS: Origins concluded with Gibbs marrying Diane despite unresolved feelings for Lala, while Sydney was unable to air its planned fall finale following a real-life incident.

Fortunately for fans, the wait is short. The NCIS universe officially returns Tuesday, March 3, with plenty of drama still to unfold.
