A fan-favorite face from Young Sheldon is officially back. New set photos from Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2 confirm that Annie Potts has returned as the beloved Meemaw (Connie) after a noticeable absence.
The images show Potts filming scenes with Mary and Mandy, marking her first appearance since missing the early part of the season. While the show never explained Meemaw’s disappearance on-screen, her absence was likely due to scheduling conflicts: Potts is also starring as a series regular in Fox’s new comedy Best Medicine, which films on the East Coast.
