How many ‘After’ films are there?

So far, the After series consists of 5 films: After from 2019, After We Collided from 2020, After We Fell from 2021, After Ever Happy from 2022 and the latest, After Everything from 2023. With After 5 comes the series in which Hardin is played by Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Tessa by Josephine Langford officially comes to an end.

Are there any new ‘After’ films coming?

As we indicated above, Tessa and Hardin’s story is over for good after After 5. This doesn’t come as a surprise, because the fifth film was actually an extra. The rest of the series is based on the successful book series by Anna Todd, which only has four books (and a prequel). In fact, the series should have been completed after four films, but fortunately we were treated to an extra part with After Everything.

Is it now finished for good? That is not yet certain. Director Castille Landon has informed Teen Vogue that there may be two more films in the pipeline: a prequel from Hardin’s perspective (based on Anna Todd’s Before) and a sequel about the children of Hardin and Tessa. These will be two separate films: about the same characters and set in the same universe, but probably with different actors. Nothing more is known about this at this time. So to be continued!

Where can you watch the ‘After’ films online?

It is possible to watch the After films online on various streaming services. You can find the first, second and third parts of the TVOD streaming service Pathé Thuis. The first film can also be streamed on Netflix. Only at Amazon Prime Video can you currently stream the entire collection.
