CBS has officially delayed the midseason return of NCIS Season 23, along with NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney, pushing the franchise’s comeback deeper into spring. Originally slated for February, all three series will now return on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, following a one-week postponement.
The delay is due to the 2026 State of the Union Address, which will air live on February 24 in the shows’ usual primetime slots. As is standard practice, CBS reshuffled its schedule to accommodate the presidential address.
When the NCIS lineup returns, it will resume its familiar Tuesday-night block:
NCIS at 8 p.m. EST, NCIS: Origins at 9 p.m., and NCIS: Sydney at 10 p.m.
