As fall approaches, NCIS is gearing up for an emotionally charged return — and the stakes have never been more personal.
The Season 22 finale left fans reeling after the shocking death of Roman Parker, raising one urgent question: Who killed Alden Parker’s father? According to Gary Cole, that mystery will drive much of Season 23. “This isn’t just another case,” Cole previously said. “This is one of our own.”
Cole has confirmed his return as Parker, whose grief quickly turns into vengeance as the investigation unfolds. Joining him are familiar faces Sean Murray (McGee), Wilmer Valderrama (Torres), Katrina Law (Knight), Brian Dietzen (Jimmy Palmer), Diona Reasonover (Kasie), and Rocky Carroll (Director Vance) — all back to help solve the most personal case the team has faced in years.
Season 23 will also introduce Nancy Travis as Parker’s sister, Navy Vice Admiral Harriet Parker, offering new insight into Parker’s troubled past and adding family tension to an already volatile situation.
