Netflix has confirmed that Season 7 will premiere on March 12, 2026, alongside a first-look photo of Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson as Mel and Jack. The new season will consist of 10 episodes, picking up directly after Season 6’s tense cliffhanger.
According to showrunner Patrick Sean Smith, Season 7 resumes immediately following Jack’s shocking discovery at Charmaine’s home, with answers finally coming about her fate and the twins. At the same time, Mel and Jack’s newlywed life takes center stage as their adoption journey moves to the forefront, following Marley’s emotional request in the Season 6 finale.
Elsewhere in Virgin River, Doc and Hope face growing pressure around the clinic, Brie must decide between Mike and Brady, and Lizzie and Denny prepare for the arrival of their baby. Preacher and Kaia’s relationship also deepens, raising questions about their future.
Season 7 introduces several new faces, including Sara Canning, Cody Kearsley, and Austin Nichols, while familiar favorites remain firmly at the heart of the story.
