As January 2026 unfolds, fans are once again asking the same question: when will Virgin River season 7 finally arrive? While Netflix has yet to announce an official premiere date, there are growing signs that news could drop before the end of the month.
Season 7 wrapped production some time ago, and it has now been more than a year since the last season aired. Unlike effects-heavy Netflix series, Virgin River doesn’t require an extensive post-production process, meaning episodes can be turned around relatively quickly. For that reason alone, it would be surprising if we didn’t hear something soon — even if it’s just early promotional material.
That said, a January premiere still feels unlikely. The more realistic window appears to be late February or March 2026. Netflix clearly still values the series, as evidenced by its early renewal for season 8, and beginning promotion now would make sense.
