Theresa Nist, star of The Golden Bachelor, is overjoyed to be expecting her seventh grandchild. On June 19, she unveiled the exciting news on Instagram, sharing that her daughter Jen Woolston is pregnant with her fourth child.
” When my daughter asked me last night to take photos of her on the beach because she was going to let everyone know that she’s pregnant I couldn’t have been more thrilled, ” Theresa captioned her post, which featured pictures of Jen cradling her baby bump.
” I no longer have to contain the supreme joy that I’ve been feeling ever since she told me about it, ” she added.
Her social media announcement included a heartfelt video capturing the moment she learned about the pregnancy. Bursting with excitement, Theresa could be heard exclaiming,
” No! No way! ” as her loved ones watched on.
The vibrant grandmother currently cherishes her six grandsons: Brandon, Braxton, Brody, Dempsey, Henry, and Leo—all of whom played significant roles during her Golden Wedding to Gerry Turner.
Nist and Turner first met in the inaugural season of The Golden Bachelor, getting engaged by the show’s finale. Their romance led them to walk down the aisle in January during a televised wedding ceremony filled with Bachelor Nation guests.
Despite their fairy-tale engagement, the couple mutually decided to part ways after just three months of marriage. During an interview on Good Morning America, they revealed their decision to
” dissolve our marriage ”. Theresa shared that her daughter Jen had been instrumental in planning their wedding, adding,
” There’s so many decisions that had to be made… Seriously, I don’t know if there would be a wedding if she wasn’t involved. ”
