It’s the end of the road for NCIS: Tony & Ziva. Paramount+ has officially canceled the beloved NCIS spinoff after just one season, closing the chapter on one of television’s most enduring fan-favorite couples. The series reunited Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, nearly a decade after both characters exited the original NCIS.
Set years after their dramatic departures, the 10-episode season followed Tony and Ziva raising their daughter, Tali, while navigating danger across Europe. Despite a solid premiere on Paramount+, viewership declined sharply over the first few episodes, contributing to the streamer’s decision not to move forward with Season 2.
In a joint statement, Weatherly and de Pablo expressed gratitude for the chance to revisit their iconic roles, thanking the cast, crew, and fans who supported the long-awaited reunion. While the cancellation stings, the series ultimately delivered something fans had waited years to see: Tony and Ziva finally choosing each other — together, as a family.
