ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive promo clip for Will Trent Season 4, the return of the hit ABC police procedural. Will Trent Season 4 is set to premiere on January 6, 2026.
“Five months after the attack on the GBI, a figure from Will’s past escapes prison, forcing him to defy orders and launch a search that rips open old wounds and threatens to destroy everything he’s fought to rebuild,” reads the official logline for the fourth season of the series.

The promo for the upcoming fourth season sees Trent enjoying a peaceful life. However, things don’t promise to be too calm for too long. A figure from Trent’s past has escaped prison and seems to be taunting him to come and look for him.
Will Trent originally debuted on ABC in 2023 and has aired three seasons so far. The series stars Ramón Rodríguez in the titular role of Will Trent, a Special Agent in the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and his ongoings. Alongside Rodriguez, Will Trent also stars Erika Christensen, Iantha Richardson, Jake McLaughlin, Sonja Sohn, Gina Rodriguez, and Kevin Daniels.
The series was developed by Liz Heldens and Daniel Thomsen, and is based on the book series of the same name by Karin Slaughter. The series has been a success for ABC, earning an 89% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes for its first season, as well as pulling in over 5 million viewers for both of its first two seasons.
