FBI: International uses Jubal to help the Fly Team coordinate the takedown of a cult leader and sexual abuser. The episode ends with a cliffhanger when Mitchell’s (Jesse Lee Soffer) ex-wife comes to Budapest to talk to him about something important. Finally, in FBI: Most Wanted, a search for a serial killer intersects with personal drama for Scola (John Boyd) and Nina (Shantel Van Santen), with the couple on the outs with each other after Scola admits he gave a large sum of money to Nina’s sister without discussing it with Nina.
Why There Are No New FBI Episodes Tonight (March 25, 2025)
CBS Is Using A Scheduled Break To Promote Watson
CBS’ schedule has been different over the past week because of the ongoing March Madness basketball tournament. However, there is no basketball game tonight. Instead, CBS is airing a rerun of FBI at 8 ET, followed by two reruns of Watson. Networks sometimes do this when a show is not doing as well as expected in its current time slot. By rerunning it in a time slot that normally gets higher ratings, the network hopes to increase the size of the show’s — in this case, Watson, which normally airs on Sundays — audience.
Additionally, during this time of year, networks often schedule breaks for popular shows. Network TV shows typically wrap up their seasons in May, so shows may go on hiatus in late March or early April to ensure that there are enough episodes left to last until their mid-May ending date. In some cases, shows may also go on hiatus because they are behind schedule on production and want to ensure there are enough ready-to-air episodes available to last several weeks before airing any more new content.
When Will New Episodes Of FBI, International, & Most Wanted Release?
This Hiatus Is Short

The good news is that this is only a one-week hiatus — CBS plans to air new episodes of all three FBI shows on April 1, 2025. This means that there is only a break of one week between episodes, and the procedurals will return with all-new exciting cases quickly. Sadly, when the shows return, there will only be 7 episodes left of each one, counting the finale. Thus, FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International will soon be airing their series finales.
What To Expect From The FBI Shows When They Return
Exciting New Cases Will Be Paired With Character Development
FBI season 7, episode 16, “Covered,” involves Scola investigating a leak that is endangering undercover agents. However, the more exciting news is that FBI will introduce Emily Alabi as Scola’s new partner, Dani Rhodes. This development has been a long time coming. Hopefully, Rhodes will become a permanent partner, or at least, will last throughout the rest of FBI season 7. Meanwhile, we will quickly learn why Mitchell’s ex-girlfriend, Ella Driscoll (Jade Tailor), is in Budapest in FBI: International season 7, episode 16, “Little Angel.”
Since this is the first time Mitchell and Ella have come face-to-face since their breakup, there should be some emotional interactions between the two.
