Raegan Revord delivered a heart-tugging moment after sharing a sweet post with her Young Sheldon co-star.
The actress captivated viewers with the quirky charm of her character, Missy, on the CBSsitcom, starring alongside Iain Armitage who played the young Sheldon Cooper and Montana Jordan their eldest sibling, Georgie Cooper.
After seven seasons, the Big Bang Theory spin-off bid farewell to viewers, but the friendship formed behind the scenes stayed intact.
In an Instagram Story shared by the former child star, she posted a sweet photo with Lance Barber, who played Missy’s father, George Cooper.
In the hit series, he is not just a loving husband to Mary Cooper, played by Zoe Perry, but also a gentle and nurturing father to his kids.
The post showed Revord leaning on the actor’s shoulder, both sharing a warm smile.
Moreover, she also included a sweet message noting “Forever 2nd Dad.”
Revord reprised her role in the spin-off Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage with Montana Jordan, Emily Osment and Annie Potts, who played the beloved Meemaw.
Although some characters didn’t make it back, Barber’s cameo in season 1, episode 12, was a treat for fans.
Since one of the most heartbreaking moments in Young Sheldon was George’s death, the creators brought him back briefly through a dream sequence in Georgie’s storyline in the spin-off.
On the other hand, this little moment speaks volumes about the connection the cast formed beyond the cameras.
Besides Barber, the teen star has maintained a strong friendship with Jordan. She once expressed how proud she is of his new life as a husband and father of Emma Rae Jordan.
In a sweet display of affection, she even went by “Auntie Rae.”

Calling it her “lifelong dream,” she shared that this moment felt like the “perfect time” to bring the book to life.
“I think with the show ending, I think it was the perfect time,” she told Entertainment Tonight, adding that she would partially write in between takes, especially during the show’s last season.
One particular moment was during a dinner scene in Young Sheldon Season 7, when she revealed that she kept her laptop on her lap on set and only placed it on the table once the director called “cut.”
