Fire Country Unveils the New Three Rock Team — And Fans Are Shocked by the Lineup md11

A kind of soft reset happens in two characters’ lives in this week’s episode of Fire Country, airing on Friday, December 12, 2025. Bode (Max Thieriot) meets a former acquaintance who might turn out to be his new love interest, and Eve (Jules Latimer) receives a new crew for Three Rock as the camp reopens following the Zabel Ridge fire. Even after fighting to get her old people back, she did not succeed. Eve starts from scratch as she is presented with a fresh challenge: juvenile convicts, whom she must transform into respectable firefighters and, hopefully, help reverse the course of their lives. CBS has released photos from Fire Country Season 4, Episode 8, “Fresh Start,” previewing the new crew and Bode’s potential love interest.

The new crew is a bunch of young men of various ages, straight out of the California Department of Corrections. Like many young men, they’re energetic, angry, cocky, and unpredictable. The images show Eve and Manny (Kevin Alejandro) introducing them to their new environment. It doesn’t take long before two of the boys start fighting, forcing Eve and Manny to play CO. There is no telling how everything will shake out, given that these are essentially boys with nothing to lose, so they are not motivated to be on their best behavior. The former crew consisted of fathers and husbands who wanted to be with their families more than anything. What do these boys want for their lives? Will they respect Eve as their captain? The episode’s guest stars include Samuel Rook as Ace, Dominique Robinson as C.O. Kilbane, Elias Kacavas as Tex, and Simon Auclair as Hartman.

Bode Reunites with a High School Acquaintance and Potential Love Interest

Meanwhile, Bode runs into Chloe, a high school acquaintance who tutored him. She used to harbor a secret crush on Bode, and it might have been reciprocated. However, there is a problem because Chloe’s son, Tyler, is in the same phase as the boys from Three Rock are. As a matter of fact, Bode met Tyler in Fire Country Season 4, Episode 7, “Best Mom in the World,” when he was trying to run away. Matters become even more complicated with Tyler’s stepfather being in the picture. “A warm and intuitive straight-shooter, Chloe initially presents as a gentle soul, but when her child is threatened, she morphs into a fierce mama bear with claws of steel,” the character’s description teases. This arc stages a SEAL Team reunion between Thieriot and Tal, who played lovers in the CBS drama.
