Over the last few years, Cole Hauser has made a name for himself portraying Rip Wheeler on Yellowstone. While he’s developed a following portraying the brooding cowboy who captures the heart of the ranch head’s daughter, he’s more than just an actor. He stays busy working on multiple projects, including as a co-founder of his successful Free Rein Coffee Company.
Ahead of Yellowstone wrapping up with season 5 part 2 this November, we spoke to Cole about what he likes to have on-hand during long days as well as in his free time. Between acting, entrepreneurship and being a proud family man, he’s all about essentials that help him keep up with the busy life he leads.
As one of the founders of Free Rein Coffee Company, it’s no surprise Cole has a go-to blend of choice. “I can’t live without Free Rein American Dirt,” he reveals. “This is my signature blend and our darkest roast.”
Given Cole’s love of coffee, it’s not just the blend he’s particular about — he has a specific method for brewing the beverage as well.
“I love the Chemex for my pour over coffee at home and on the go,” he says.
This particular model was tested by the Good Housekeeping Institute and was chosen as the “Best Pour-Over Coffee Maker” on the list of best coffee makers.
While Cole admits he’s “not much of a skincare guy,” he does love to use this moisturizer when he goes out for the day. “It has SPF in it too, which is great since I’m outside a lot!” he says.
The Kiehl’s Facial Fuel made the GH Institute’s list of the best face moisturizers for men, as the best pick for oily skin.
“I keep a Bose bluetooth speaker in my car for when I’m hiking, working out or spending a long time outdoors,” Cole shared about his travel must-have. “Got to have my music.”
What’s more, this particular model was chosen as the “Best Overall Bluetooth Speaker” when tested by the GH Institute for our list of the best bluetooth speakers. The product also earned a spot on Good Housekeeping’s 2024 Family Travel Awards, as a “Take-Anywhere Speaker.”
