A beloved Virgin River icon has teamed up with a 90210 favourite for what fans are calling a “hilarious and adorable” Christmas must-watch.
A new festive film—already earning “10 out of 10” reviews and being compared to “Mrs Doubtfire at Christmas”—is currently taking Netflix by storm.
This season, the streamer has rolled out a blend of cosy classics like The Holiday and the late Diane Keaton’s The Family Stone, alongside a slate of sparkling new titles.
Earlier releases included Champagne Problems, starring Ransom Canyon’s Minka Kelly, and Jingle Bell Heist, led by Sex Education actor Connor Swindells. But the movie stealing the spotlight now is My Secret Santa, fronted by Virgin River fan favourite Alexandra Breckenridge.
The film follows Taylor (Breckenridge), a down-on-her-luck single mother who loses her job and, out of desperation, disguises herself as a kindly elderly man to work as a ski resort’s Santa Claus. What unfolds is a heartwarming, laugh-filled holiday adventure that’s quickly become Netflix’s most-watched Christmas movie of the year.
