Farewell to Agent Castille: Alana de la Garza Dies at 49 After Tragic Accident md20

As we close in on the end of the year, we get ready for all our favorite shows to go on their winter breaks. The CBS shows are a little later than other networks, and we’re certainly not complaining, but there is a surprising update about the FBI season 8 fall finale.

The FBI season 8 fall finale will air in the middle of the month, and it will be a two-part episode. No, there won’t be a need to wait a week to get answers for a cliffhanger. Instead, the show will air over two hours on the same night!

CBS is a little quiet on when each of the fall finales will air, but now we know that FBI season 8 will go on its winter break on Monday, Dec. 15. This is around the time expected based on the late October premiere date.

The fall finale will be a two-episode event, and it looks like originally this may have been planned to air over two weeks. However, the Everybody Loves Raymond reunion special put FBI on hold during Thanksgiving week, and now it means there’s a need to put the two episodes on the same night.

Just keep in mind that the winter break is a little longer than normal. Due to the Winter Olympics in February, CBS has decided to hold off on new episodes of FBI until Monday, Feb. 23.

On Monday, Dec. 15, FBI season 8 will start at 8/7c. That is an hour earlier than we’ve been used to his year, with the two episodes running through the two hours.

It all starts with “Lone Wolf,” which finds the team dealing with the murder of three sex workers in a brownstone. It’s soon clear that there is a much bigger issue at hand, and we’ll continue this storyline in “Wolf Pack,” the second hour of the fall finale.

This is more than just murder. A group of radicals want to “reset society,” and they see the killings as a way to do that. That’s not all, though, as these radicals will also disrupt internet and cell service, which also affects emergency services.

On top of that, Jubal will get a personal arc. His son Tyler comes up in the episode when he calls Jubal with something concerning. Is this medically related to past Tyler storylines, or is this something to do with his mom?

TVLine has some great first-look images of the fall finale.

FBI airs on Mondays at 9/8c on CBS, but the fall finale will start an hour earlier.
