Virgin River fans still have a few months to wait before Season 7 arrives on Netflix, but Benjamin Hollingsworth is offering an early taste of what’s ahead for his character, Brady.
In a new interview with People, the actor revealed that Season 7 will dive deeper into Brady’s messy emotional landscape — including his fractured relationships, unresolved feelings, and the fallout from Lark’s betrayal.
Brady vs. Lark: The Money Drama Isn’t Over
Season 6 ended with Brady blindsided after discovering that Lark (Elise Gatien), the woman he’d been dating, stole all his money — right after overhearing him confess his lingering love for Brie (Zibby Allen).
According to Hollingsworth, Brady will track Lark down early in Season 7 and reclaim what he lost. But getting the money back only complicates his life further.
“He goes to try and find Lark. He tracks her down and really figures out what to do with the money once he gets it,” he said. “That’s a big question for him — more complex than he expected.”
The Brie Question: A Season of Ups and Downs
The other major thread in Brady’s storyline will once again be his complicated history with Brie. She left him reeling after Mike (Marco Grazzini) proposed — despite knowing she had cheated with Brady.
Hollingsworth says this emotional tangle won’t be neatly resolved anytime soon:
“There’s a lot to reconcile between Brie and Brady, and Mike and Brie,” he teased.
“I won’t say the love triangle necessarily continues, but it is a season-long journey with highs and lows — moments fans will love, and moments that will frustrate them.”
He also reaffirmed what longtime viewers already know: Brie is the great love of Brady’s life, even if he fears he might not be the right man for her.
More Hollingsworth While You Wait
While fans wait for Virgin River to return in the spring, Hollingsworth can be seen in the Christmas film The Christmas Ring, starring alongside Jana Kramer and Kelsey Grammer.
Netflix has also renewed Virgin River for Season 8, which has not yet begun filming.
