Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo have officially returned as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David in the new NCIS: Tony & Ziva spinoff, now airing weekly on M-Net (DStv 101).
Tony, now running a top cybersecurity firm, and Ziva, working with a non-profit after years undercover, are forced back into action when an unknown attacker uses a program called 9.4 to steal Interpol funds — and frames Tony for the crime. To protect their daughter Tali, they send her to safety and team up with hacker Boris Pesko to uncover the truth.
The series leans more into espionage than the typical NCIS procedural format, with flashbacks revealing more about Tony and Ziva’s complicated past. Their long-standing off-screen friendship fuels the duo’s natural chemistry, with Weatherly’s charm balancing de Pablo’s intensity.
With only two episodes out, the spinoff shows strong promise and marks Weatherly’s first major TV return after Bull. Whether it will match the success of previous NCIS spinoffs remains to be seen — but Tony and Ziva are off to a compelling start.
