The Shadow Room
Nick enters the club, looking pissed off. He asks the bartender if Mitch or Sienna is there, but the bartender shrugs him off. He sees Detective Burrow, who asked him to meet there.

Detective Burrow says there’s someone he wants Nick to meet.
A woman walks up. “Nice to finally meet you, Mr. Newman.” She introduces herself as Annie.

They sit down and Detective Burrow says Annie is his partner, and they’re part of an operation to take down a fentanyl ring involving Mitch Bacall.
Annie says that Detective Burrow has been playing a dirty cop that Mitch has in his pocket. They believe Noah might have seen or heard something he wasn’t supposed to, and that’s why he was targeted.
Nick agrees that Noah’s crash wasn’t an accident. He asks what they’re doing to find out who did it. He tells them that Mitch’s real name is Matt Clark. Did they know that?

They say they figured Mitch Bacall was an alias, but they didn’t know his name.
Nick tells them that Matt raped Sharon, and got away with it. It still haunts Sharon to this day! He’s been coming after them for years. About 20 years ago he came back, tried to set Nick up for selling drugs. He thought that Matt had died; he was in Matt’s hospital room when he ripped out his breathing tube.
Annie nods. 20 years later again, he’s back to finish what he started!

Nick says this is where it ends… If Matt has done anything to Noah, he won’t have to frame him for killing him this time!
Detective Bacall tells him they’re prefer he leave it to the law.
Nick says the law never helped him before. Either Matt dies, or he goes to prison for the rest of his life; he won’t accept anything else!

Detective Burrow makes a call and asks someone on his team to check into “Matt Clark.”
Nick says they may be concerned about a drug bust, but he’s concerned about his son’s life. He thinks Matt came after Noah because he’s Nick’s son. He says that Noah is romantically involved with Sienna.
The detectives give each other a look and tell Nick that Sienna is missing, as well.

Nick sighs. Noah is missing, and so is Sienna? He tells the detectives to call Mitch and find out where he is. Matt Clark is dangerous and needs to be stopped before he hurts anyone else!
Annie says that they want to help him, but they can’t just blow up the drug trafficking case against Bacall.
Nick says the stakes are a lot higher for him.

Detective Burrow says he’ll call Mitch and try to get him to meet. He can only push him so hard, though, or he’ll bolt!
Nick asks them to do whatever they can, quickly. He can’t help but feel Noah is running out of time.

A Dank Storage Room
Sienna rubs Noah, who’s lying on the floor, unconscious. They’re in a dank cinderblock room.

He slowly wakes up. “What happened?” He complains that his head is spinning.
Sienna says hers is, too… They were probably drugged.
Noah wishes there was some water in the room with them, but there isn’t any.

Sienna doesn’t know what time or day it is. She has no idea how long they’ve been down there, and they don’t have their phones with them. The door is locked from the outside.
Noah asks if they’re in a storage unit for the pub.
Sienna isn’t sure. She’s never been there before… They’re stuck!

Noah isn’t so sure. He wants to check for himself; he’s stubborn, and won’t just sit there and do nothing.
Sienna knows she can’t stop him. “Lead the way!”
Noah tries the door; maybe they can pick the lock. He bangs on the door, yelling for help, but his strength fails and he slumps beside the door.

Sienna says there isn’t anything that could help them pick the lock and tells him not to waste his energy. She asks him why he’s out of the hospital; who checked him out?
Noah shrugs. He checked himself out because he was worried about her. He left the hospital and went to the club to check on her.

Sienna thinks it was sweet of him to worry about her, but checking himself out against medical advice wasn’t the smartest thing to do. He’s determined, just like his dad! She laughs and says Nick kept asking her a bunch of questions she had no answers for.
Noah says he’s starting to remember… He went to The Shadow Room the night of his accident looking for Sienna, but Mitch was there instead. He told Mitch about what his parents had said, that he was Matt Clark, and that’s when Mitch told him that he knew about him and Sienna. As careful as they were, Mitch found out anyhow!
Sienna holds her head in despair. “Oh no.”

Noah apologizes. He put her in a bad situation, and now they’re trapped here. He sighs and says he never told Allie about anything yet. He knows he can’t avoid her forever and wonders how they’re going to get out. If Mitch wanted, he could keep them locked up here!
Sienna knows that Mitch is furious with them, but he’s not the type to kill someone over an affair. He might be manipulative and controlling, and their relationship has been lousy for a while, but he’s never been violent.
Noah says that his parents told him that Mitch is dangerous and psychotic… And Mitch isn’t even his real name, according to them. His real name is Matt Clark, and that guy could easily have them both killed and not give it another thought.

Sienna says Noah’s parents told him about Matt Clark, and she didn’t believe them… At first. She knew him and married him; how could he have led a double life like this? She found an old picture of Matt Clark, and it was definitely Mitch. She’s been living in a lie this entire time! She should have suspected something.
Noah says she was in enough danger just living in the same house as him.
Sienna says Mitch was never violent… Maybe he changed?

Noah says Mitch had to be a part of the reason that they’ve been held captive. He’s sure he’s a dead man because Mitch is going after the Newmans and he had an affair with his wife
Sienna says Mitch can be controlling and a bit of a bully, but he’s not the monster that Nick and Sharon seem to think he is.
Noah sighs. He wishes he hadn’t taken the bait; he should have just stayed in London.

Sienna says they would have never met if he’d stayed in London. Even after everything, she doesn’t regret anything; Noah means too much to her.
Noah smiles. They have to figure a way to get out of this room, and they have to do it quickly, before Mitch comes back.
They look around for a way out.

Sharon’s Hotel Room in LA
Sharon wakes up to a fire alarm. She grabs her things and opens the door to the hall to evacuate.

Matt Clark stands there, menacing. He pushes his way into the room as Sharon screams for him to get out. He grabs her and pushes her down onto the couch, telling her to calm down.
Sharon says she’s not afraid of him.
Matt says she should be, and warns her that if she doesn’t do what he says, Noah will be more than just scared. He wants to know when Nick is going to be there.

Sharon says Nick will be there soon. He’s gone to the police, and he’s probably telling them everything about Matt.
Matt says that would be very bad for Noah.
Sharon says she’ll kill him if he hurts Noah. She wouldn’t lose a minute of sleep over it! Matt has already had one funeral, hasn’t he? How did he manage to cheat death?!

Matt says that’s a conversation he needs to have with her and Nick together. He yells at her to sit down and shut up.
The alarm shuts off, and Matt is relieved for the silence.
Sharon asks why he’d go after her and her family. When the police find out that he’s Matt Clark, he’ll probably end up in jail.

Matt says she’d better hope that Nick isn’t telling the police any of her lies. He doesn’t have time to talk to the police about something he didn’t do! Sharon and her boyfriend can’t just come here and ruin his life… He’ll destroy Noah’s life first!
Sharon asks where Noah is… Why won’t he tell her what he’s done with him? She knows Matt must have ran Noah off the road… What did Noah ever do to him?

Matt says that Noah isn’t dead yet… And he slept with his wife, which doesn’t seem to bother Sharon. He says he met Allie at Noah’s club in London, and Noah cheated on her, the same way he cheated with Sienna. Noah is entitled and thinks he can take what he wants!
Sharon says whatever Noah did, he doesn’t deserve to die for it.
Matt asks what the price is for screwing another man’s wife. Noah lied to him!

Sharon says he’s condemning Noah for what he’s done, but it’s time for Matt to own up to what he has done.
Matt sighs. He didn’t run Noah off the road, and he doesn’t know who did.
Sharon doesn’t believe him.

Matt says she’s testing his patience. She needs to call Nick and get him to come to the hotel. She’s wasting time that Noah doesn’t have!
Sharon says she can call 911 instead.
Matt says that she needs to call Nick. He won’t ask again!

Sharon gives in and calls Nick. She tells him that Matt is with her at the hotel and wants to talk to them both. She ends the call and asks Matt if he’s happy now.
Matt says he’d be happier if she quit calling him “Matt.”
Sharon wishes he’d quit claiming to be someone named Mitch Bacall… Or is he too ashamed to admit the truth?

Matt doesn’t want to talk about himself. They should talk about Noah instead… That liar, that cheat! Sharon must be proud.
Sharon says she and Nick are proud.
Matt says he gave Noah his time and energy, but he slept with his wife! That’s how Noah expresses his gratitude!

Sharon says that if she or Nick knew anything about Noah’s relationship with Sienna, they would have told him to get out of his affair immediately!
Matt laughs. Sharon and Nick have respect for marriage vows now?
Sharon says Matt doesn’t know anything about family values or any other values. He knows nothing about morality! Whatever Noah did to Matt pales in comparison to what he did to her and others! She doesn’t blame his wife for wanting anyone but him!

Matt growls. She doesn’t know anything about his wife or his marriage!
Sharon figures Sienna saw Noah as a way out of a sham marriage… That’s the only type of marriage someone could have with him!
Matt gets in Sharon’s face. “Do you really think now is a good time to provoke me?”

Sharon says he’s right. They both know what they think of each other.
Matt asks if this is her idea of an apology.
Sharon says he should take out his revenge on her and leave Noah out of it.

Matt says he’s not interested in her… She’s not the guilty party!
Sharon says she’d do anything to save her son. She’s not the same person Matt tormented years ago; she’s been to hell and back more times than she can count. She knows that she’s the one that Matt really wants.
Matt says this is what’s going to happen: He’ll explain how they can save Noah once Nick gets there… And oh boy, they’re going to have some fun!
