With the announcement of The CW’s mid-season lineup, it was revealed that Sullivan’s Crossing, also based on a book series by Carr, is returning to screens long before Virgin River season 7. Sullivan’s Crossing season 3 will be airing encore episodes on The CW after the return of Wild Cards, beginning on Monday, January 26 at 9 p.m. ET.
While Sullivan’s Crossing season 3 aired on The CW during its initial run in mid-2025, the series is going to be returning to the network to refresh viewers about what happened on the show as fans wait patiently for its fourth season. Sullivan’s Crossing season 4, which added a trio of new faces to the series earlier this year, will return in 2026.
Sullivan’s Crossing season 3 was one of the show’s gutsiest efforts yet, with the series deviating from the Carr novels more thoroughly during its most recent run. While it brought Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan) and California “Cal” Jones (Chad Michael Murray) into a new phase of their romantic relationship, the series saw other characters stepping up to the spotlight, as well.
Although many viewers have already watched their way through Sullivan’s Crossing season 3, seeing it back on The CW for encore episodes is a great way for new viewers to join in on the exciting story.
