NCIS: LA Cast Reflects on 14-Year Journey as Series Prepares to Conclude md14

After CBS announced on Friday that NCIS: Los Angeles will conclude after its 14th season, cast members have been sharing heartfelt reflections on the end of the long-running procedural.

Eric Christian Olsen, who joined the series in Season 1 as a recurring character before becoming a regular, captured the sentiment perfectly: “What a spectacular journey we all shared,” he wrote alongside a striking behind-the-scenes photo of his character, Marty Deeks, in silhouette.

The series finale is scheduled to air on Sunday, May 14 at 10/9c, bringing an end to more than a decade of high-stakes investigations and team camaraderie.

Original cast member Chris O’Donnell (Callen) expressed his gratitude on Instagram: “What an amazing 14-year ride with my @ncisla family. Just want to take a moment to say thank you to all of our amazing fans that tuned in every week. On to the next adventure!”

His co-star and longtime on-screen partner LL Cool J (Sam) tweeted about the series’ well-watched recent crossover event, adding, “After 14 seasons, it’s the perfect time to end @NCISLA on top!”

Daniela Ruah (Kensi Blye), who has been with the show since Season 1, shared a reflective post with then-and-now photos, writing: “From season 1 to season 14, from 24 yrs old to 39, it has been an absolute dream. So many feelings to process and too many words to say. I will save them for a later date… I’m so so grateful to have been a part of this NCISLA family. The show lasted this long because of all of you ♥️.”

Recent addition Caleb Castille (Devin Rountree) commented via Twitter: “Incredibly sad about the news that @NCISLA won’t be coming back to give you guys another season but man what an amazing accomplishment… 14 seasons! Shoutout to the best fans & crew in the world! I’m eternally grateful for the opportunity. Special Agent Devin Rountree signing off.”

Medalion Rahimi (Fatima Namazi) echoed the gratitude on Instagram: “What a journey, so grateful for you all.”
