Taste aside: the characters in Friends are just written to be terrible people. Who would want to actually spend time with them? I’d like to hang out with the characters in Living Single.
Even Maxine Shaw: she can steal my food, push me and my friends around. She’s smart, fun and despite everything she’s reliable. She can take you on an adventure.

Kyle Barker is a real person, he exists, he is chivalry and good taste.
Queen Latifah is confidence, emotion, a rock star. So obviously so is Kadijah James.
Regina Hunter gets an amazing character arc, she’s real too, and I wish more people were like her.
And those GUEST STARS, omg, I just sat there squeeling at the screen, HOW DID THEY MANAGE TO GET 99 AMAZING GUESTS like Batman, Chaka Khan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Eartha Kitt, the list goes on.
