No More Chicago P.D. Episodes in 2025 — Here’s When the Series Returns md14

Chicago P.D. fans, take note: the crime drama’s season 13 fall finale has aired, and there are no new episodes left in 2025.

The schedule has felt a bit unusual this year. The series didn’t kick off until October, and now it’s gone off-air slightly earlier than usual. With the Winter Olympics set to air on NBC in February 2026, many viewers were concerned about a long wait for new episodes.

Chicago P.D. Returns in January 2026

Good news: the show isn’t gone for long. Season 13 will return on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, as part of NBC’s One Chicago block, airing at 10/9c.

For streaming fans, episodes will also continue to hit Peacock the next day, starting Thursday, January 8.

A promo for episode 8 teases that the story picks up right after the dramatic cliffhanger of the fall finale.

February Break Due to Winter Olympics

Expect another short pause in February. NBC’s midseason schedule shows that the Winter Olympics will dominate from Friday, February 6, through the closing ceremonies on Sunday, February 22.

This likely means regular programming, including Chicago P.D., will be temporarily halted. The series is expected to resume on Wednesday, February 25.

While a midseason break can feel frustrating, it may actually help space out episodes more evenly, avoiding the typical one-week hiatuses between episodes.

Mark your calendars: Chicago P.D. season 13 returns Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 10/9c on NBC, with episodes streaming on Peacock the following day.
