NCIS: LA – Eric Christian Olsen Reveals His Favourite Kensi and Deeks Moments md14

Fans of NCIS: Los Angeles have long adored the chemistry between Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah), and Olsen has now shared some of his favourite moments between the pair.

Speaking to TV Line ahead of the highly anticipated season 10 wedding, Olsen highlighted a few standout scenes that captured the evolution of their relationship over the years.

He reflected on the early tension and trust-building between them, recalling the season two episode “Deliverance”, where Kensi is trapped in a room with a bomb and Deeks helps her escape. “You see the ignition point of what that chemistry looked like and what they were fighting for,” Olsen said, emphasizing how these moments laid the groundwork for their deeper connection.

Olsen also remembered the season five episode “Impact”, an emotional story where Deeks, recovering from torture, can’t sleep. Kensi visits him, and they share Chinese food and light-hearted banter, demonstrating the intimacy and grounding in their bond.

Another unforgettable moment for Olsen was the season nine break-up scene, when the couple confronts the reality that their career ambitions and family goals don’t align. Deeks warns Kensi: “The longer that we stay in, the better chance that this ends really poorly for us. You know that, right?” Olsen explained that what made the scene special was its complexity—both characters were right, yet circumstances forced them apart.

Thankfully for fans, the pair eventually reconciled. Olsen fondly recalls the church scene in Mexico from season 10: “You just go, ‘I don’t care about the circumstances, I don’t care about logistics. Love wins.’ These two have definitely put the hours in to get to a place where they have this wedding.”

From life-threatening missions to heartfelt arguments, the journey of Kensi and Deeks has provided fans with countless memorable moments—and Olsen clearly treasures them all.
