Taking to Instagram, Olsen posted a striking photo of a cast member in character, walking through a dramatic tunnel, captioned simply: “What a spectacular journey we all shared.” The post quickly drew an outpouring of messages from fans, many expressing gratitude and heartbreak at the series finale.
One fan wrote, “I know this wonderful journey was to end one day. I wish you much happiness and success in your new projects. We love you. Thank you to the whole team for 14 years of happiness.” Another added, “Thank you for all the wonderful years. This show helped me stay connected to my parents after they passed. I’m truly sad to see it end.”
A third fan reflected on the deep emotional connection with the series: “Not the news I wanted to read today. I knew this day would come, but I wasn’t ready for the emotions I’m feeling right now. Thank you for becoming my family almost eight years ago. You’ve always been a refuge, and I can’t thank you enough.”

Olsen’s on-screen partner, Daniela Ruah (Kensi Blye), also shared her own reflections on social media, calling her time on the show “an absolute dream.” She added, “So many feelings to process and too many words to say. I will save them for a later date… I’m so, so grateful to have been a part of this NCIS: LA family.”
