The beloved Kensi Blye actress teams up with her NCIS: LA family once again — this time, for charity.
Although NCIS: Los Angeles aired its final episode earlier this year, the bond between its cast remains stronger than ever. Daniela Ruah, best known for her role as Special Agent Kensi Blye, has reunited with several familiar faces from the show — but not for filming. Instead, they’re teaming up for something even more meaningful: the Malibu Triathlon, to raise funds for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Taking to Instagram, the 39-year-old actress revealed she’ll be competing alongside her husband David Olsen (who appeared in NCIS: LA as Tom Olson), Caleb Castille (Agent Devin Rountree), and Duncan Campbell (Agent Castor).
“Alright, for the past few years I’ve participated in the Malibu Triathlon to raise funds for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles,” Daniela shared in a heartfelt video. “But I’ve always done just the running portion as part of a relay team. This year, because I turn the big 4-0 in December, I decided to gift myself the full race — swimming, biking, and running!”

She added with excitement, “We’ve put together a little team — Caleb, Duncan, and my hubby David — and we’re training hard, having so much fun, and hoping to raise $10,000 for this amazing cause.”
In her post caption, Daniela admitted to being “nervous and excited,” asking fans for tips from experienced triathletes. The response was overwhelming, with fans flooding her comments with love, encouragement, and advice.
“GO TEAM NCIS: LA! These kinds of things make me so emotional — you all have my deepest respect,” one fan wrote. Another added, “I started with relay runs too! You’ll love doing the full triathlon — enjoy every moment!”

Daniela’s reunion with her NCIS: LA castmates is a touching reminder that even though the hit CBS series has wrapped, its spirit — and the friendships it built — continue to thrive beyond the screen.
The show ended with a two-part finale and a special retrospective celebrating its incredible run, but thanks to moments like this, it’s clear that the NCIS: LA family is still very much alive — both on and off the course.
