Stop Ruining A Couple Before It Gets Started
The writers have been flirting with the idea of Claire (Hayley Erin) and Holden (Nathan Owens) for a while on the CBS soap. Their Los Angeles trip and Holden brought out a new side of Claire that was very refreshing.
Although Claire hitting the sheets with Holden was unexpected, it did bring back love in the afternoon. Granted, we don’t need flashbacks of their tryst every episode. However, sparks are flying between Holden and Claire. That’s why it’s a bit disappointing that she pumped the brakes on the relationship.
Not that they need to be full steam ahead, but the writers seem to be squashing them before they were ever given a chance. It’s a shame, too, because Claire seems more like herself with Holden than with Kyle (Michael Mealor).
In our opinion, watching Kyle and Claire together is like watching paint dry. Claire and Holden, though, have piqued our interest. Unfortunately, all signs point to a love triangle between Holden, Claire, and Kyle, which is not super appealing.
