Jamie Dornan Hid From The Scathing Reviews Of His ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Role
NEW YORK – For “Fifty Shades” fans, the wait is over.
A fourth novel in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” romance series by E L James will be released June 18 by Vintage Books, it was announced Monday.
The series follows the romance between young billionaire Christian Gray and college student Anastasia Steele.
“Gray” is told from Christian’s point of view.
Universal Pictures announced in April the “Fifty Shades of Grey” stars will reprise their movie roles in the sequels “Fifty Shades Darker” to be released on Feb. 10, 2017, and “Fifty Shades Freed” on Feb. 9, 2018.
Stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are set to return for the films. James’s husband will write the screenplay for “Darker.”
The first film opened this year on Valentine’s Day weekend and became one of the biggest R-rated openings ever. It has grossed $568 million worldwide.
