Hero Fiennes Tiffin, who plays Hardin Scott in the After movies, has revealed his ideal date night. Anyone taking notes?
The 23-year-old’s third movie in the role, After We Fell, is due out this month. In it, Hardin and Tessa are fighting over where they’re going to move after graduation. Tessa has a brilliant opportunity line up in Seattle, while Hardin hoped the pair would move to London together.
It features lots of drama and sex scenes, so it’s probably no surprise that viewers are desperate to know what dating Hero in real life is like. On his ideal night in with a ‘romantic friend’, he told Cosmopolitan US, “We’re cooking.
“But I’m so indecisive, I’ll spend an hour thinking of what to cook. So I’ll have planned that before. And then, it sounds boring, but you’ve got to stick a movie in there and maybe a little card game or chess.”
On why he likes seeing his date’s competitive side, he added, “One hundred percent. You get to know a certain side of them that way. It can get a bit intense.”
In a recent interview with Stylecaster, the actor opened up about how he hopes to avoid romanticising his character’s toxic behaviour. “It’s one of those things where none of it is malicious,” he said of how Hardin treats Tessa.
“It all comes from a good, honest, true place. Naturally, because of his imperfect attachment and behaviour he’s learned from growing up, the trauma that he’s dealing with is very difficult for him.”
