The music on Fire Country has become just as popular as the CBS drama. It’s not just music playing in the background, either, that has fans’ attention.
Fire Country stars Billy Burke (Vince) and Leven Rambin (Audrey) have also showcased their musical chops on the show. They even performed a Miranda Lambert hit song that has now taken on a new life.
Billy Burke and Leven Rambin Release Miranda Lambert’s ‘Vice’
Nearly one year ago, on Fire Country, Audrey and Vince gave a powerhouse performance of Lambert’s song “Vice” at Smokey’s. All eyes were on them as they belted out the hit in a scene that left Bode (Max Thieriot) in his feels.
Well, it turns out that the song also impacted Rambin. The actress reached out to Lambert, who gave her the green light to record their own version of “Vice”. She then got Burke on board, and they went into the studio to make some magic.
Rambin reshared the powerful scene on her Instagram to announce the exciting news.
“Did you see this scene? I wanted to give this moment new life, so I got back in the studio with the one and only Billy Burke to re-record our own version ❤️🔥🥃 Thanks to @mirandalambert for letting us cover your masterwork and @firecountrycbs for setting the stage Vice (Leven’s version) is out Friday!” read the caption on her social media share.
The actress also used Instagram to give Fie Country fans a little tease of the version of “Vice” she recorded with Burke.
“My vice is covering Miranda Lambert in smoky honky tonks…care to join me? VICE ft Billy Burke (as seen of Fire Country) is out this Friday 🥃❤️🔥,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
Fans have been flooding Rambin’s social media with excitement and praise for the song.
“OH YES YEP OKAY YEAH,” wrote a fan. One fan stated, “Yesssss! So good! Great song and vocals!”
Other fan comments included “This is incredible,” “I was thinking about this the other day. This is great news!!” and “Love this song! Beautiful cover!”
As Parade reported, Burke won’t be on Fire Country for Season 4, so fans won’t see Vince playing guitar or singing anymore. Burke’s exit makes this new version of “Vice” even more of a treat for Fire Country fans.

Music Plays a Big Part in Fire Country
Burke also played one of his original songs on the show. The song is called “Burn,” and Vince sang it at Smokey’s on stage with his brother Luke (Michael Trucco).
Thanks to the musical talent on Fire Country, it has been a pivotal part of the show. Mega music stars like Jelly Roll, Zach Bryan, Chris Stapleton, and Morgan Wallen have had songs featured on Fire Country.
In fact, Jelly Roll debuted his song “Dreams Don’t Die” on Fire Country in the same episode he made his acting debut.
Fire Country Season 4 premieres on Friday, Oct. 17 at 8/7c on CBS.
