See It Here First: Netflix Might Have Accidentally Revealed Bridgerton Season 4’s Release Dates md17

Netflix’s popular period drama Bridgerton is set to return for its highly anticipated fourth season and the release dates have been accidentally revealed. While the streaming giant has not officially announced the premiere, Netflix Netherlands shared the dates on Instagram, sparking excitement among fans worldwide.

The upcoming season will focus on Benedict Bridgerton, the family’s second son, promising new romances, drama and familiar faces. The show, produced by Shondaland, continues to explore the high-society scandals and love stories of the Bridgerton family in early 19th-century London.

Season 4 To Be Released in Two Parts

According to the leaked post, Bridgerton Season 4 will drop in two installments. The first part is scheduled for January 29, 2026, while the second part will follow on February 26, 2026.

The Instagram post also included a new promotional poster highlighting the split release.

Benedict’s Love Story Takes Center Stage

The new season will spotlight Benedict Bridgerton (played by Luke Thompson) as he falls for Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), a maid with a mysterious past. Their paths cross at Lady Bridgerton’s masquerade ball, where Benedict meets a “Lady in Silver,” unaware of her true identity.

Thompson described the story as a fresh take on the classic Cinderella tale. “The scripts that Jess [Brownell] and her team have come up with are dynamite. They’re really, really, really exciting,” he said in an interview with Netflix’s Tudum. “It’s such a great story, but it’s also, I hope, really relatable.”

Meanwhile, Yerin Ha added that she felt an instant connection with her character: “What drew me to Sophie was that she immediately has obstacles, something that she constantly has to overcome.”

What To Expect From The New Season

Fans will also see the return of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie), whose friendship is stronger than ever.

New characters include sisters Rosamund Li (Michelle Mao) and Posy Li (Isabella Wei), introduced to London society under the guidance of their mother, Araminta Gun (Katie Leung). Simone Ashley will reprise her role as Kate Bridgerton and Golda Rosheuvel will return as Queen Charlotte, adding more excitement and drama to the season.
