The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, October 9, find a Nick who is tired of being bossed around by his family and friends. Which is why he decides to go his own way.
Next on Y&R
Nick (Josh Morrow) has spent weeks being told what to do. Primarily by Victor (Eric Braeden). But also by Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), Adam (Mark Grossman); we bet even Christian is bossing him around at home. And — we can’t blame him for this — Nick has had enough.
Nick had a plan. He and Sharon (Sharon Case) were going to Los Angeles to visit Noah (Lucas Adams) and check out the new club he planned to open. Victor said, “No! You must stay here so that if I think of something useful you can do for me, you will be available to serve me on a moment’s notice. You got that?”
Phyllis also wanted Nick to do something for her, as soon as she thought of what. Well, Nick will show them! He’s his own man! He can make his own decisions! Just because he’s doing the opposite of what people want him to do doesn’t mean he’s still being controlled by them! Stop saying that!
Jack Protects Family Interests
Jack (Peter Bergman) tries to be a nice guy. But we can’t blame him for this — he realizes he has to stop worrying about other people and focus on his own family first. Victor is out to get him. Cane (Billy Flynn) is out to get him. Phyllis is out to get him. And Kyle (Michael Mealor)…. Well, Kyle may think he’s doing something good, but it’s likely to come back and bite him in the face. And take large chunks of Jabot down with him.
So Jack decides to put out all those fires. And make sure they stay dormant.
Jill and Lily Confront Cane
Cane has been vague about how exactly he accumulated his fortune. But Jill (Jess Walton) and Lily (Christel Khalil) really want to know. (For our part, we want to know where Cane’s youngest son, Sam, is, but that will likely have to wait.)
So Jill and Lily ask him (not about Sam, though you’d think Lily would be curious, considering she raised the boy for the first year of his life). Cane does his usual song and dance evasion. Except this time, Jill and Lily won’t be evaded.
