The new cast member joins just as a fan-favorite character returns to the small screen
FBI: International has revealed a casting change that will be revealed in the next few weeks.
The Fosters star Teri Polo is set to make her series debut during the final two episodes of the season.
Teri, 54, will also return for Season 4 if the CBS series is renewed, according to Deadline.
It has yet to be revealed which role Teri will fill in the drama.
Teri is a prolific actress and has appeared in shows like The West Wing and Good Trouble.
She also starred as Pamela Martha Focker in the Meet the Parents films.
The third season of FBI: International premiered on February 13.
The show is a spinoff of the flagship CBS series FBI, and it got its start in 2021.
It stars Luke Kleintank as Scott Forrester, Carter Redwood as Andre Raines, Vinessa Vidotto as Cameron Vo, Eva-Jane Willis as Megan “Smitty” Garretson, and Christina Wolfe as Amanda Tate.
The CBS drama explores the missions that the FBI’s International Fly Team undertake while investigating crimes related to terrorism.
The team does not carry guns and instead relies on their quick wits, strength as a team, and intelligence to complete their objectives.
GOOD BOY
At the end of March, FBI: International fans asked for an update on the whereabouts of one of their favorite characters: a black Giant Schnauzer dog.
The canine, whose real name is Green, had been missing in action from the series for some time.
Green plays Tank, a former FBI cadaver dog that joined the FBI: International team as their “secret weapon” and has won hearts through his brief appearances on the show.
Fans had asked about Tank’s whereabouts on social media, concerned they wouldn’t see him anymore.
“Can someone tell me where Tank is,” one fan begged to know on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Haven’t seen him this season and I’m concerned,” another fan wrote.
“Dear the writers and producers of #FBIInternational just a quick question what happened to the dog please tell us please,” another fan asked.
Just like the new character Teri will play, Tank isn’t set to appear until the season’s finale, which will air in May.
There will be 13 episodes in total of the current batch of episodes, with the third Season 3 episode airing on April 2.
