Lauren is not playing on The Young and the Restless. After learning that Michael teamed with Victor yet again, she walked out on him at Society.
A Rare Soap Couple
For two decades, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) have been happily married on the CBS soap. They are not the normal soap couple, that’s for sure. However, thanks to Victor (Eric Braeden), that’s all changing. Lauren is over Michael, working with the mustache, and she’s made her feelings crystal clear.
This latest betrayal has definitely brought out a side of Lauren that Y&R fans haven’t seen in a while, but that doesn’t mean the end of the road for the couple. We don’t see Lauren leaving Michael. Instead, signs point to this being a struggle for them to give them more of a storyline, which is always a bonus for Y&R fans.
Splitting up Lauren and Michael at this point is like breaking up Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). There’s no point because they simply belong together. There were mixed reviews on X regarding the latest drama between the soap couple.
One fan said, “Lauren, you can do better. Just because Nikki likes to hide her head in the sand, doesn’t mean you need to. Michael is always lying and always chooses Victor first.”
Another fan, though, isn’t here for Lauren, writing, “Lauren ur so effing boring.. Michael is bored because of her what the hell did she expect. How would she feel if he said she cannot pretend design any more..pathetic.”
A different Y&R doesn’t understand why Victor has to be at the center of a storyline that is finally focused on the talented LeBlanc and Bregman.
