The Days of our Lives blackout produced two major developments for one storyline: Cat and Chad made love and agreed to go public as a couple, and Rachel spitefully told Thomas that his Dad had a girlfriend. Chad is thinking about how to break the Cat news to Thomas. While Thomas might be thinking of how to nip this relationship in the bud… and he has an absolute expert in the topic as his guru.
Kristen’s Demon Spawn
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) made sure that her daughter was so upset at the thought of her mommy and daddy never living happily ever after that she brainwashed Rachel (Alice Halsey) into making sure Brady (Eric Martsolf) never had another romantic relationship. Rachel started by flinging food at Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), then made it so Brady’s ex-wife felt so guilty getting between Brady and his precious little girl that Chloe left town.
With Ava (Tamara Braun), Rachel upped her game, scheming with her loony grandmother to kidnap the interloper and nearly kill her. Aw, what a delightful little scamp, she is! And now she’s right there at a key moment: Thomas (Cary Christopher) is upset about his dad and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord).
Bad Dad Chad
Thomas was blindsided when Rachel maliciously revealed that Chad (Billy Flynn) had kissed Cat. And Rachel knows vulnerability when she sees it.
Rachel is furious that Kristen was sent to jail, and she is striking out at everyone around her to ensure they are as miserable as she is. Even though Thomas considers accepting his dad’s new lady love, Rachel has every reason to keep him angry. She could fill Thomas’ head with all sorts of “helpful” tips for breaking up Chad and Cat (should their combo name be… CaD? ChAT?)
Be careful, Chad and Cat, Thomas is about to take a page from Rachel’s book! And it’s a horror novel…
