
CBS Studios is bringing “NCIS: Tony and Ziva” and the “Star Trek” universe to New York Comic-Con, and official plans have now been unveiled.
Variety has learned that things will kick off with the “Tony and Ziva” panel on Oct. 9 from 2-3 p.m. ET in Room 405 at the Javits Center. A screening will be followed by a conversation with series stars/executive producers Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly.
The “Star Trek” universe panel will take place Oct. 11 on the Empire Stage from 3:15 p.m.-4:15 p.m. Cast members and producers from both “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” and “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy” will be in attendance, with the panel also set to feature exclusive sneak peaks.
From “Strange New Worlds,” panelists scheduled to appear include Ethan Peck, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia and Martin Quinn alongside executive producers and co-showrunners Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers, and executive producer Alex Kurtzman.
From “Starfleet Academy,” scheduled panelists include Holly Hunter, Sandro Rosta, Karim Diané, Kerrice Brooks, George Hawkins, Bella Shepard, Zoë Steiner with Paul Giamatti along with executive producers and co-showrunners Kurtzman and Noga Landau.
In addition, CBS Studios is bringing a “Starfleet Academy” activation to the convention center floor that will allow fans to undergo Starfleet cadet training. Each participant will receive a personalized ID badge and will take on various hands-on challenges. Upon completion, each participant will be given a recommended discipline path for the Academy and receive a special “Starfleet Academy” giveaway. The activation will be open. Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and on Oct. 12 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Booth 1723.
