Golden Bachelor’s Theresa Nist has reunion with girls – but April is missing after scandal

The Golden Bachelor winner Theresa Nist had a night out with some of her fellow contestants, including Kathy and Susan, but one crucial person was missing.

Theresa Nist has reunited with some of her fellow Golden Bachelor stars – but a key character was missing.

Theresa, who tied the knot with Gerry Turner last month, had a girls’ night out with some of the biggest names from the show, proving they are mostly all still friends.

The group, including Joan Vassos, Susan Noles, Kathy Swarts, Nancy Hulkower, and Christina Kempton, chose a Maryland winery as their destination, sharing their experiences on social media.

Nist posted a photo with her friends, expressing her excitement and affection for the group.

“Having such an incredible time with these warm and wonderful women. Love them so much. Cannot wait to see what fun today brings,” she captioned the post.

Fans are now noticing former contestant April Kirkwood absence from the girls trip drawing back to a statement the reality star made earlier this year.

Kirkwood, 66, took to Instagram on January 18 to clarify her situation.

In her post, Kirkwood expressed frustration with what she described as “adult bullying” by some for her decision not to attend the getaway.

“For all of the folks from Texas and PA that are daunting me about why I am not going to St. Martin. Although it is none of your business and there are only three people who knew I cancelled but karma never sleeps, here are the reasons,” she explained.

“1. I have a job and I can’t keep taking off. 2. My roof had a major leak and I had to pay 4,500.00 so I can’t afford to go. 3. My dogs are freaking out.” She also noted the importance of being present for her son’s birthday and a trip to New York to celebrate her granddaughter’s third birthday.

Kirkwood condemned the behavior as “adult bullying” and lamented the negativity it brought, likening it to her experiences on The Golden Bachelor.

“This is a poor example of what adult females should act like. I seriously feel like I’m on the Golden Bachelor part two and I’m the new Teresa being targeted. Shame on you,” she said.

She delineated her reasons for not attending, emphasizing personal boundaries and the unwelcome scrutiny from others.

As Nist and Turner continue to navigate their marriage with a blend of shared and separate adventures, their story and the dynamics of their extended social circle remain a focal point for fans and followers.
