Days of Our Lives is welcoming back a familiar character with a brand new face!
Theo Carver is officially returning to Salem, but viewers of the Peacock soap will notice a big change: the role is now being played by newcomer Tyler Joseph Andrews.
Fans will get a first look at the actor in the role when he makes his debut on the show on Tuesday (September 9), per Soaps.com.
You might also know Tyler from his work in All American: Homecoming and Black Panthers of WWII.
Theo, the son of Abe Carver, has been played by several actors over the years.
The last person to play the part was Cameron Johnson, who appeared in 2023 during a special Juneteeth episode. Before that, he was played by Kyler Pettis from 2015 to 2018. His first portrayers were Chase and Tyler Johnson in the early ’00s.
For those who need a refresher, Theo’s connection to the DiMera family comes through his late mother Lexie, daughter of Stefano DiMera and Celeste Perrault. It’s not known yet why Theo has returned to the town, but a new promo teases plans involving his uncle Tony.
