Fire Country Season 3 ended on a major cliffhanger. Sharon (Diane Farr), Vince (Billy Burke), and Walter (Jeff Fahey), aka Papa Leone, were trapped in the fire at Walter’s memory care home.
The fate of all three of their lives hangs in the balance, but the Sheriff Country Season 1 trailer featured a Fire Country spoiler.
Sheriff Country Trailer Spoilers Fire Country Cliffhanger
In the footage, fans get a first look at the Fire Country spin-off focusing on Sharon’s stepsister, Mickey (Morena Baccarin). The character was introduced in Fire Country Season 2 and also appeared during a Season 3 episode.
It’s because of Mickey that fans learn that Sharon will be just fine after the Fire Country cliffhanger. The video shows Sharon giving Mickey a pep talk, reminding her that she is “Edgewater’s finest” and there isn’t a scratch on her.
That means Vince and Walter’s fates are still unknown, but at least Fire Country fans know Sharon survives being trapped in the burning building.
For those wondering if Sharon’s appearance means the character is switching shows, the answer is no, as Sharon is just one of a few Fire Country stars slated to appear on the spin-off.
More Fire Country Stars To Appear on Sheriff Country
Since the two shows take place in the same world, there will be some casting crossovers. Max Thieriot (Bode) will make an appearance on Sheriff Country. Thieriot isn’t just a star on Fire Country. He also created it and the new spin-off, too.
W. Earl Brown brings the role of Mickey’s estranged father, Wes, to Sheriff Country. Wes debuted in Season 3 of Fire Country, revealing his off-the-grid life as a drug dealer.
Those are the only casting crossovers that have been announced. However, the stories on these shows are bound to become more intertwined as the seasons play out.
Other Sheriff Country cast members include Christopher Gorham as Mickey’s ex-husband, Travis and Amanda Arcuri as their daughter, Skye. Caroline Rhea plays Mickey’s assistant, Gina, while Michele Weaver is Deputy Cassidy, who Mickey inspired to join the force.
The rest of the Edgewater Sheriff department is rounded out with Matt Lauria as Micke’s long-time partner and David Klein as Deputy Mason Mitchell.
Sheriff Country Season 1 premieres on Friday, October 17, at 9/8c, and Fire Country Season 4 premieres on Friday, October 17, at 8/7c.
