Would Kristen Stewart ever play Bella Swan again?

Considering her ex-boyfriend has moved on with his new love, FKA Twigs, you’d imagine that Kristen Stewart would never agree to being in another Twilight movie – because let’s face it, it would be mega awkward filming with your ex-boyfriend.

But that might not be the case, and if the offer was right, she just might!Kristen, who found fame with the movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s hit novels opposite Rob, has been helping launch The Storytellers – New Voices of The Twilight Saga, which is a contest for young female filmmakers over the best short films about the origin stories of the Twilight characters.

Talking at the AFI Film Fest earlier this week, E! News spoke to K-Stew about whether she would consider starring in another movie.

“No,” she said, but then added: “I mean, I haven’t gotten a call yet. Make me an offer.”

But she is excited about the Twilight competition and “can’t wait” to see what the entrants create.

“They’re doing this really great thing where they’re allowing these young female filmmakers to explore what got them excited about Twilight in the first place and also to explore their own interest in filmmaking and creation,” she said.On 1 October 2014, we wrote…
Twi-hards, prepare to be over-joyed. The hugely popular saga is returning to film, via Facebook.

Two years after the final film came out, Lionsgate and Stephanie Meyer have revealed that they will select five aspiring female directors to make five short films – all based on the Twilight characters. The films will then be shown exclusively on Facebook next year.

“We think Facebook is a great way for us to introduce the world of Twilight to a whole new audience while re-energizing existing fans,” Michael Burns, Lionsgate’s vice chairman, said in an interview.

He then teased fans that more was to come, saying:

“This is the just the beginning – a template, if you will…You can probably guess what might be coming next.”

No Michael, we CAN’T guess – does it mean a sixth Twilight movie? We can’t imagine R-Patz and K-Stew reuniting on screen after they have so publicy distanced themselves from the franchise. Or maybe some other Lionsgate movies (hello, Hunger Games) will get the same short film treatment?

Stephanie Meyer didn’t drop any hints either, simply stating that the new project was all about women making films:

“The female voice is something that has become more and more important to me as I’ve worked in the film industry” she said.

Either way, Twilight’s near 50-million strong Facebook fan base are in for a treat when the films get made.
