“Bridgerton” Season 4 is on its way, but with some changes to the cast.
According to Just Jared, “many of the season three stars seem to have departed the series,” so let’s get into who will be returning and who will be departing.

But, as for who won’t be back, Just Jared reports that Phoebe Dynevor, who plays Daphne Bridgerton, was not asked back.
“I mean, they’ve not called me yet. And I think they’re shooting Season 4 right now. So, I’m still waiting for that call,” she told The Direct in January.
Jessica Madsen, who played Cressida Cowper, along with Bessie Carter and James Phoon, and Lorn Macdonald and Harriet Cains, were also reportedly left off the cast list.
“Bridgerton” Season 4 will feature four new cast members.
Beginning with Yerin Ha, she will play Sophie Baek, who is Benedict’s love interest. Netflix details how Benedict first spots Sophie at Lady Bridgerton’s masquerade ball during the first episode of the next season.
Along with Ha, Katie Leung will portray Lady Araminta Gun, Michelle Mao will portray Rosamund Li, and Isabella Wei will portray Posy Li.
“Twice-married and twice-widowed, Araminta has two daughters debuting on the marriage mart this season and she’s feeling the pressure to get at least one of her girls married off. Fabulous, discerning, and blunt, Araminta does not respond well when anything — or anyone — threatens her standing in society,” Netflix writes about Leung’s character Lady Araminta Gun.
“Beautiful, vain, and eager to please her mother, Rosamund is Araminta’s eldest daughter and most prized possession. Rosamund sets her sights on Benedict this social season. And, just like her mother, Rosamund is determined to get what she wants,” the streaming service states regarding Mao’s character Rosamund Li.
“Rosamund’s younger, kinder sister is also debuting this year. But Araminta rarely puts the spotlight on her second child. Posy’s chatty, overly friendly demeanor often has her putting her foot in her mouth,” Netflix says about Wei’s character Posy Li.
How Many Episodes in ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4?
According to Netflix, Season 4 of the hit show will include eight episodes.
