Get excited Yellowstone fans!
Stan, Australia’s unrivaled home of original productions, today announced that production has commenced in Montana for Yellowstone’s epic final installment.
The mega-hit series will also return to our screens in November 2024, and will premiere the same day as the US, only on Stan.
Originally scheduled to premiere in 2023, Yellowstone production schedules shifted due to the dual strikes.
But now that production has commenced for the epic season finale, you can catch the finale trailer below for what has been the biggest show on television in recent years.
Led by Oscar winning actor Kevin Costner, Yellowstone is the #1 drama on U.S. cable television.
The first installment of the Season 5 saw John Dutton (Kevin Costner) take office as the Governor of Montana, with the Dutton family fighting a war from all sides.
Power has a price. What are the Duttons willing to pay?
While production has commenced, details of the plot for the final installment are strictly under wraps.
At the time of the finale’s original release, Luke Grimes – who plays Kayce Dutton – stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss his character and reveal what could happen during the second half of Season 5.
However, he soon confirmed that while he’d love to spill a few details, creator Taylor Sheridan has refused to tell him how it ends for one big reason.
“I think some of the cast knows the end. Some have been told. Some haven’t,” he revealed.
“I don’t think Taylor, who writes our show, wants me to know either,” he continued.
“It might affect the way you do something or play something. And it’s kind of fun to experience it this way anyway. It’s sort of like life.”
Yellowstone has an impressive cast that also includes Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Forrie Smith, Denim Richards, Ian Bohen and Gil Birmingham.
It also includes Australia’s own Finn Little.
