There is plenty of action today in Salem, and several people are in their feelings. Steve is missing his brother, John, terribly, and Rachel doesn’t know how to cope with losing her mother. Alex apologizes to Sarah, who catches up with Holly. Also, Tate realizes that Sophia’s new job will complicate things with Holly.
Steve and Rachel are Both Struggling
Today on Days, Steve takes a moment to reflect on some memories of his Black Patch partner, John. After so many years together, the two were like brothers, and Steve is still struggling with the loss of him.
As Steve reflects on how much he misses his brother, Brady drops in at the office. He explains to Steve all the strange recent happenings and his suspicions surrounding them. Since Gabi no longer has Steve on retainer, he has plenty of time to help John’s son with the investigation.
Rachel is struggling after learning that her mother has confessed to shooting EJ. Brady and Tate try to comfort her, but it is a nearly impossible task. Plus, Brady is furious for allowing everyone to suffer, including their daughter, while she stayed silent. Of course, he doesn’t realize that Rachel was really the shooter, and her mother has taken the fall. How will Brady’s rage at Kristen affect Rachel?
Speaking of Rachel, Sarah is also on hand to try to support the young girl. The two have always shared a close relationship, and she is ready to do whatever it takes to help comfort Rachel. After Sarah leaves, she bumps into Alex at Horton Town Square. He has an apology at the ready for her. Is it over her marriage to Xander, or has something else been weighing on Alex?
Sophia Is Still Coming Between Tate and Holly
Tate is thrilled to steal some alone time with Holly. They are in the process of rebuilding their relationship after Tate’s break baby with Sophia.
Sophia is now working at the Brady Pub, and Tate and Holly are on their way in the door when he spots her leaving. Tate now realizes that if they are going to be working together, it could mean more problems in his relationship with Holly.
Also today, Holly and Sarah will spend some quality time together, but there is a catch. As Holly spills the details on everything with Tate and how Sophia keeps trying to interfere, Sarah must stay silent. She knows what is really going on with Tate and Sophia’s baby, but is bound by doctor-patient confidentiality.
