‘Golden Bachelor’ Stars Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist Living Separately 3 Months After Wedding

Less than months after they exchanged vows during their reality star-studded wedding, Golden Bachelor stars Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are reportedly living separately.

TMZ reports that while this may seem like the end of the couple’s relationship, Gerry and Theresa say that’s not necessarily true.

The Golden Bachelor himself is now living in his Northern Indiana lakehouse while Nist is spending time at her New Jersey residence.

The media outlet explained there are a few reasons why the reality TV couple hasn’t committed to sharing in the same dwelling quite yet. One of which is the hassle of moving.

It was also reported that Gerry and Theresa have their own established residences. Moving to one specific location is considered “time-consuming” for them. Nist is currently still working as a compliance officer and isn’t sure what she’ll do with her job.

Sources told TMZ that the couple moving from their specific locations would be difficult for them.

However, the Golden Bachelor and his love are looking for a place in Charleston, South Carolina. This is a good location for them because Theresa’s son and grandchildren are in the same area.

Despite being long distant, insiders say the living arrangements are working well for Gerry and Theresa. They have seen each other several times since getting married. They are also making it a priority to schedule visits.

Gerry, who was the first Golden Bachelor, proposed to Theresa during the first season of the reality TV series.

Days before they said, “I Do!” Golden Bachelor stars Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist spoke to PEOPLE about their reaction to the online criticism they received while being on the show.

“We read some of the things online,” Gerry explained. “And it’s really a source of good entertainment for us. But talking constantly about things that come up, whether it’s wedding-related or relationship-related or whatever the case may be, has really helped us so much.”

Gerry also credits having a “sense of humor” when it comes to dealing with critics. Theresa also remained positive while reading some of the comments.

“[I find it] really interesting to read about yourself online,” Theresa said. “When people really don’t know. But we also don’t really have that much time to read things like this.”

Theresa then said there have been “many” good messages that she and Gerry have received. “I tend to not see the other stuff.”
